Second Harvest 35 Year Commemoration

A look back at 35 years of feeding the hungry in northwest Pennsylvania
On September 28, 2017, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest Pennsylvania will mark 35 years of service to the community. Second Harvest will observe this milestone by presenting About Hunger & Resilience, a nationally-touring multimedia photography and audio exhibition created by Michael Nye. This exhibit features fifty portraits and audio stories that reveal the courage and fragility of those individuals who have experienced hunger. In simple, eloquent detail, the voices and images draw viewers of the art into their lives.
Please join us at this event as we look back through Second Harvest's history of providing food to those in need in northwest Pennsylvania and reflect on what can be done to alleviate hunger in our communities going forward.
